Mediation
Mediation is a process by which a neutral third person facilitates communication between parties to a dispute to enable them arrive at a mutually agreed resolution. It is a time-saving and less costly alternative to formal court process in dispute resolution. Court-facilitated mediation is now compulsory before any civil matter can proceed to trial in Ugandan Courts of law. Our team boasts of proficiency in negotiation advisory, with a proven record of successful mediation negotiations for our clients.
Furthermore, we provide private mediation services, particularly for Land and Family law disputes. This means that parties who agree to our mediation of their dispute can approach us, and we can facilitate the process expeditiously without recourse to court. Simpler disputes may be settled over a few weeks, while more complex ones may be settled over a few months, saving your precious time and money while maintaining privacy and good relations.
